Completion day typically happens a week after exchange on average but it varies; how long between exchange and completion can be any time agreed between all parties in the chain. In some cases it can be done on the same day.

What is a conveyancing fee?

Conveyancing fees cover the amount you’ll pay to make sure the legal side of buying or selling a house is handled correctly. When comparing conveyancing quotes, conveyancing or Solicitor fees can be split into two parts:

2. The disbursements: This is what third parties charge for certain services like searches.
